well, NYC transit is on strike--but at least it's only 22 degrees out. Enjoy the beer!
Oh, oh, oh! I just got back from a week in London and I'm feeling so nostalgic for it today! You lucky, lucky dog! What are you doing there? Are you an American? I can't find a profile on your blog. Well, whatever, I hope you don't mind if I check your blog occasionally, just to get my Brit Fix. Keep posting pics, please!
It was VERY cold on the Brooklyn Bridge today.
Are pistachios true nuts? Or are they legumes? Or something else entirely?
As a pistachio afficionado (that was fun to write), I can confirm that they are true -- nay, the truest of nuts. And that picture has made me want some very badly. The beer looks nice, too. Why do I live in this country again?
Er . . . you're on a mission from God?
Sorry. I heard a Canadian say that once.
By the by, I started to distrust my earlier botanical diagnosis and (with embarrassingly little research) have just determined that pistachio "nuts" are actually seeds. Woe is me. Next thing you know, I'll learn that the beer in that picture is actually malt liquor.
Mike, I hope you're sitting down. Cashews are seeds. Soylent green is people, and cashews are seeds.
And let's not even talk about almonds . . .
On a related note, I think Jennifer should hand off the camera and get some pictures of herself.
I'm beginning to think there is no such thing as a nut. Or beer. My own existence, actually, is becoming a bit vague in my mind.
And I have NO IDEA how I intend to get home.
Nuts, I think I'll go home and have a beer.
