Saving my parents the inconvenience of an international phone call.
Eh, we’re all on Verizon now—my parents don’t even have to use up minutes to talk to me.

Are you comparing the time it takes you for Recordkeeping, learning about the law or the form, and preparing and sending the form to the IRS to the estimated average times indicated in the instructions? And are you finding that the IRS has appropriately estimated the length of time that it is taking yout o do them? It should be faster, since you are using an electronic counting device rather than doing the long division by hand.
