Please, please don't let this year's team form any portion of your lasting impression of the ever-proverbial "once proud" Knickerbockers franchise. They're the joke franchise of professional sports right now thanks to some horrible decisions by ownership, mostly related to their current head coach and the decisions he made earlier as general manager. And with some other real good contenders out there for the "most dysfunctional franchise" like the Oakland Raiders, to be the joke-i-est is saying something.
It looks like they're playing the Trailblazers. I hope so, because otherwise they're playing the Heat, which is the second-worst team in the league right now, iirc.
In any event, hope it was enjoyable. Wish the NBA was closer to Chas.
