The Renaissance
Oof, I’ve been busy this week. But here’s a picture from the Renaissance Fair (Faire) that I went to last weekend. Rest assured, it was well worth the price of admission once I was asked, in front of the beer/mead booth, “Hast thou identification?” Hee.

I went to a Ren Fair last summer, and I think that the standards have fallen off greatly. At the end-of-day joust, there was an announcer who used Monster Truck rally speech patterns to enhance the combat between the black knight and the other guy. It was very depressing!
