Just to reassure you that my new toy hasn’t made me a complete recluse, here’s a picture of Jay and Mike, who came over to play with the Wii. It’s an action shot of their boxing match:

Nice action shot. Guy in baseball cap almost looks like he's eating a sandwhich while he's playing, which is pretty much how I played my last video game years ago.
As the "Guy in baseball cap," I can assure you that I would not have eked out the split decision victory had I been eating a sandwich. Wii Boxing requires energy, determination, and especially two free hands for the controllers. Plus, I had no margin for error: the fight was so close that my opponent and I knocked each other down simultaneously.
