Whee!
Someone described it to me like this: “It’s like being in Communist Russia. You stand in line in the cold—and you probably won’t get anything.”
And I did stand in line. And it was cold. But I did get something! So maybe it’s not like Communist Russia at all! Also... at the end of the line, rather than getting necessities for living, I got a new video game console!!!

Wow. You're significantly more resolute than I am. Even though I want a Wii, I doubt that I'd last more than ten minutes waiting on that line. If it were about 75 degrees out. And I had a chair. And a cold beverage.
Why the reluctance to actually use the word Wii in the post? It's conspicuously absent...
And congrats on your new toy :)
