Radio Four

My radio wakes me up to Radio Four, a mostly talk BBC radio station (if you’re in London, it’s FM 93.5), which has news on weekday mornings from 6:00 until 9:00. The other day I was up earlier. If you happen to be listening to Radio Four a little before 5:45, you’ll hear the daily prayer. The other day it was delivered by the Reverend Stephen Shipley. Then the farming report came on.

Still, I don't think anything can truly compare to NY1 and Pat Kiernan. Do they read the headlines off the papers to you in the morning as well on Radio 4?

First of all, why were you awake before 6:00 a.m.? You can't have been eager to have have breakfast. (We've already seen your bleak choices.) I worry you're not spending as much time in pubs.

Ah the joys of living in a country with an official state religion AND an active farming industry. The possibilities, the possibilities.
