Another weekend goes by
It was a fun weekend, but there’s nothing especially enlightening to report. The main focus was going to pubs with friends. And I saw Walk the Line. All very pleasant, but none of it particularly London-y.

I enjoyed Walk the Line, and felt more than a little surprised when it didn't receive a nomination for best picture. Then again, I've seen exactly none of the films that did receive nominations, so I'm not in the best position to judge.
On a related note, Reese Witherspoon is pretty.
Pubs with friends...because that's what they do here. Sounds perfect to me (being one of the friends)!
When does the weekend not focus on going to pubs? That's not a value judgement, just a question.
I have seen no nominated films either. I wear that fact with pride.

I'm the "anonymous" above. Very frustrating -- I try to refer back to our satchel jokes of yesteryear -- back when the world was new -- and I botch it by hitting the wrong key. You'd think I was the one spending all of my time in the pub.
And yes, I said "pub." Jen is clearly just passing the camera around the table so that it looks like a different place. We all know she hasn't left that corner table for weeks.
