New digs

I changed apartments today, moving from an apartment on the ground floor to the apartment directly above it. You can see the change for yourself:

My old place was blue.


But the new place... is red.


I then went into the middle of town to see what time it was.


Finally, Martin and Katherine and I met for a pint. Happy birthday, Martin!

And successful touring

Yesterday's touring around London was more successful than Friday's. We managed to make it to the Tower of London on time to take a tour. The tour was led by this guy:


We figured that with a hat that like he must really know what he's talking about.

We walked across the top of Tower Bridge. Later we had a birthday dinner and drinks. You can tell by the happy faces what a celebratory evening it was:

Unsuccessful touring

Yesterday I took a walk with a couple of friends who happen to be in town. We were too late to go in, but at least we saw these famous sites:

Arrival

So, as of eight hours ago, I officially live in London.

I mean... fuck!

Taking a short-term view of things, my life has improved dramatically over the past three days. The movers came on Tuesday.
